Anemone

A diverse genus in the family ranuculaceae. We include here varieties of Anemone nemorosa, our native windflower. While nothing can surpass its simple beauty, the varieties add interest and make good companions to Hellebores, primroses and pulmonarias in the shade garden. Often sold as bare rhizomes which look like small twigs, we offer our plants in 9cm pots, either in growth or dormant following a period of rooting. An informative article by Carol Klein.
