Cowichan primulas

The name refers to the Canadian Town of Cowichan station where the plant first appeared. Subsequent breeding initially by Florence Bellis and over the years by the Barnhaven nursery  has resulted in a superb range of plants with glowing colours. They are characterised by a dark bronzy  leaves and make excellent garden plants due to the quality of both flower and foliage.
